NCC laid out in 1988 has stood the test of time and continues to meet the requirements expected of it in the current socio-economic scenario of the country. Aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, and a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens, also create a pool of organized, trained, and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
    Going with the motto ‘Unity and Discipline' the senior division Army NCC unit of Government Polytechnic College Perumbavoor is established in the year 2021, comprising of Platoon comes under 21 (K) Bn Ernakulam. Cadets worked as a team in the service of the community. The unit organizes various programs which mould the future leaders of the nation.
